Just about everyone has at least one strong, inspirational, and fabulous woman in their life. Our team here at SSM happens to know quite a few, and we want to use this space today to celebrate those most fabulous women we know and all they have accomplished!

We cherish the relationships that we’ve been able to form with all of our clients, and Andrea Arth is no exception. She is the owner and broker in charge of Arth Real Estate Group. Aside from being a driven and intelligent business owner, we can personally vouch for her being one heck of a fabulous woman. That’s why we are so very excited to shout out her current running in the Fab Over 40 campaign!
If Andrea wins the competition, she will be donating the $40,000 prize money to Elevate Coworking to help fund new women-owned businesses in ILM! She believes there’s no better way to uplift the women in her community than to help them build their businesses.

Celeste Glass, restaurant owner of Wilmington’s The Second Glass is another talented woman we’d like to highlight today. Located in the South Front District, this neighborhood wine bar boasts not just a delicious menu and an eclectic wine list, but a true dining experience. The restaurant industry can be a tough one, but Celeste, who is resilient, determined, and certainly fabulous is not one to balk in the face of challenge. Her success served with a side of sass is an inspiration to all the ladies of SSM!
What screams fabulous if not being the owner of your own jewelry studio? Well, that’s exactly what Terri Lefler, silversmith, and owner of Lefler Design Studio, does — she creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Terri’s ultimate goal is to craft something that empowers and inspires each individual’s unique story. She uses her talents and creative drive to bring stories to life for everyone and loves empowering women at any stage of their journey. We LOVE us some Lefler!
Mindy Carlson, a spirited and authentic clinician and owner of Evoke Wellness, is another lovely lady SSM wants to shine some light on today. She loves pairing the science of therapy with the art of conversation to help people on their journeys toward self-healing. Mindy believes in greeting all of her patients with care and open arms, and she works with each one closely and passionately to find the solutions that fit each individual. (Did we mention she’s also a kick-ass business owner AND a professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington?)
The next lady on our list is an artist, gallery owner, and framing extraordinaire! Leslie Campbell of Ravenworks Studio, Gallery & Framing is a self-taught mixed-media artist here in Wilmington who brings peace and love into every piece she creates. We find this woman an absolute inspiration, balancing the demands of owning a business and family life with that unconquerable drive to create. She’s a ray of sunshine even on the cloudiest of days!

This list wouldn’t be complete without showing some love for Bonbon! Bonnie Sawyer has been SSM Creative Collective’s #1 supporter since day one. Not only is she Samm’s momma, but she’s the badass brains behind the books at David Sawyer Homes! Business savvy, artistic and whip-smart — Bonbon is not one to run from a challenge. She started David Sawyer Homes with her husband over 20+ years ago — all while raising two kids! SSM wouldn’t be where it is without her continuous support, sass and love.
